Before using for the first time and at each period, we recommend boiling the cup for 5-8 minutes to sterilize it.
2. Insert
Squeeze in the middle of the rim to form a figure 8. Insert the back of the cup and push firmly back and down while sitting so that the rim is behind your cervix.
Then simply nudge the front of the brim so that it fits behind your pelvic bone.
The cup will fit snugly around your cervix to collect the discharge.
3. To remove, sit on the toilet and simply hook your finger around the back of the front rim of the cup and gently slide it forward.
Keep the cup horizontal all the way to prevent it from spilling.
Afterwards, simply clean it and you are ready to reinsert it.
Proper cleaning and maintenance of your Lily Cup™ will guarantee its life for several years.
We recommend that you replace your Lily Cup™ if you discover cuts, holes, or the appearance of an oily film.
Some color fading or discoloration is normal and may occur over time.
Color fading will not affect the effectiveness or protection of the Lily Cup™.
First use:
Completely submerge your Lily Cup™ in boiling water for 5-8 minutes.
Don't let all the water evaporate while boiling.
Usual use:
Wash your Lily Cup™ before and after each use with mild soap and hot water or a dedicated cleaner.
Rinse the cup well to remove any traces of cleaning soap and thus avoid possible irritations.
For a deeper clean, you can boil your glass as many times as you like.
If you don't have access to a sink (in a public bathroom) just empty the cup, clean it with toilet paper and put it back in.
You can wash it the next time you have access to water in a bathroom.
